Reimagine the city is created as a street-art workshop, but could also be done inside.
We take wooden photo frames with a thin piece of perspex in it and bring them to a busy area in the city. There the participants choose an exact location where we place the frames in the ground on wooden sticks.
Now I invite the participants to look at the city trough their frame and, with a marker, trace all the lines (of buildings, roads etc) they see and would like to use in their drawing on the perspex.
Then the participants take paint to fill up the lines they just drew in any way they would like and thereby give new colours and shapes to the existing architecture.
When finished the frames stay on location, and anyone looking trough it from the right angle can see the drawing melt together with the surroundings of the city.
