The question was to use a tenterhookscreen as a starting point for an illustrative installation about women’s rights. By the use of programmed lightning the image changes from a simple and stylistic flower to the symbol of the women’s movement.
The weaving of the screen was done by five women from different layers of the population and was combined with a discussion about the position of the (non-white) woman in Brussels.
